Upgrade Instructions

These Upgrade instructions are for the following players :

• JVC TH-R1

• JVC TH-R3

• JVC DR-MV5

1) Make sure the unit is in DVD Mode with No Disc inserted.

2) Press and hold the "REC" key on the unit , after a few seconds the display will show "Update" and the tray will eject. You can now release the "REC" key.

3) Insert the upgrade disc and close the tray , after a few seconds you will see "Region" on the display

4) Press "0" on the remote control.

5) Eject the disc , close the tray and switch the unit off.

6) Unplug the unit from the mains for around 30 seconds then plug it back in.

7) This completes the process , your unit is now multiregion.
