Upgrade Instructions

These Firmware Upgrade instructions are for the following players :

• Sanyo 7201

WARNING : FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY WILL RESULT IN A DAMAGED AND UNUSABLE DVD PLAYER !!! WE ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR PLAYER BY USING THIS UPGRADE CD.

1) Switch on the player.

2) Open the disc tray

3) Place the disc in the tray and close the tray. DO NOT PRESS PLAY

4) The player will load the update files and "UPDATE D" will be displayed on the player.

5) To continue with the upgrade press PLAY. During the upgrade the player will show "UPDATING".

DO NOT TOUCH THE PLAYER AT THIS TIME .... THE TV SCREEN WILL SHOW A BROKEN PICTURE WITH COLOURED LINES , THIS IS NORMAL. AFTER AROUND 1 MINUTE THE PLAYER WILL SWITCH INTO STANDBY. NEVER UNPLUG THE PLAYER OR TOUCH ANY KEYS WHILST IT IS STILL SWITCHED ON SHOWING "UPDATING".

6) Now the player has gone into standby (red light lit) you should remove the CD-R.

7) Close the disc tray then press the SETUP key on the remote.

8) Select "Parental" and at the prompt enter 460076 as the password ( it will not show on the screen).

9) Press SETUP again to save the data. Your player is now multi-region.
