Upgrade Instructions

These Firmware Upgrade instructions are for the following players :

• Sanyo SL20 (UK and UK2)

• Sanyo SL22

• Sanyo SL25

• Sanyo SL40

• Sanyo TS750

• Sanyo TS760

• Sanyo TS780

WARNING : FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY WILL RESULT IN A DAMAGED AND UNUSABLE DVD PLAYER !!! WE ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR PLAYER BY USING THIS UPGRADE CD.

1) Switch on the player.

2) Open the disc tray

3) Place the upgrade disc in the tray and close the tray. DO NOT PRESS PLAY

4) The player will automatically read the disc and  "UPDATE" or  "Write/Erase" will be displayed on the front panel of the player.

DO NOT TOUCH THE PLAYER AT THIS TIME .... THE TV SCREEN WILL SHOW A BROKEN PICTURE WITH COLOURED LINES , THIS IS NORMAL. AFTER AROUND 1 MINUTE THE PLAYER WILL SWITCH INTO STANDBY. NEVER UNPLUG THE PLAYER OR TOUCH ANY KEYS UNTIL THE PLAYER HAS GONE INTO STANDBY.

5) Once the player has switched off ( gone into standby ) the upgrade is now complete and your player is  multi-region. You should now eject the tray  ( if it hasn't automatically opened ) and remove the upgrade CD.
